I have teenage boys and was a little hesitant to buy this book, but at under $4 I didn't have much to lose, and this book did not disappoint! My heart started racing at the possibilities of the first letter (I picked U: Ultimate Surprises, Under the Stars, Underwater and MORE!). This book expands on the post that inspired the book [...], and has a detailed list of ideas from that post and many other ideas for each letter of the alphabet. My oldest will be a senior in high school and this fun-filled e-book book is sure to make for some great adventures for his last "official" summer as a child under our roof. This book is organized well and packed with ideas to help families enjoy their summer. The introduction even offers ideas of how to use the book -- perhaps you'll want to go from Z to A while counting down the days until school starts again or you'll choose a letter on designated days throughout the summer. Cathy's family has made A to Z Summer Lists in the past and based this book on her own experiences. But her book is more than a list of ideas because it also includes websites, recipes, and craft and game instructions. There are many free ideas included as well. This resource is worth your money now because you likely won't get through all the ideas in one summer so you can make plans for future summers or other holiday breaks.

This book has some very easy and fun ideas for all ages.
I found that there was many ideals that were no cost or little cost. One of my favorites was using the back of old wrapping paper, taping it to the garage & let kids draw pictures.. Like most of us I have several rolls of paper that can be used for this. I enjoyed the encouragement of doing several things outside.
